Each year, some club members seem to attract the photographer's attention more than others.
And as 2025 draws to a close, it's time to reflect on the standouts this year.
Near the top of the tree is Bobby Rutten, Mr Everywhere, who drew the photographer's attention for a multitude of reasons:
Last Thursday he popped up regularly at the two women's pennant derbies, as the umpire who loves to measure. Spectacularly, on one occasion, when using his high-tech laser instrument, he was unable to split the two competing bowls, giving the photographer ample time to snap him.
In the recent night-game against Millswood for the Unley Cup, Bob chose to bowl on the rink that provided the best camera angles and his photo was the best of the night.
In this year's Winter Bowls competition, Bob won the unofficial Best Dressed award.
Bob wore the same striped outfit earlier in the year at Night Owls, to take out the same unofficial award.
At a recent Night Owls game, he was photographed in triumphant mode, arms aloft, simply because he bowled a 'toucher'.
Meanwhile, Bob is always available to be photographed in the crowd or on the side lines of games, often positioning himself next to a prominent female Board Member.
