Neville Riddle ("Puzzle") is an outstanding ambassador for Sturt Bowling Club. We know of his work ethos, infectious giggle and someone who bowls it very close.
Just on a normal bike ride to work last Monday morning and someone in a motor vehicle failed to give way.
Puzzle was always going to come off 2nd best, but the extent of his injuries was 35 stitches to his arm and a sore hip.
Puzzle reported he was "a bit in shock" but after appearing on the sidelines at Wednesday Pennants & criticising my bowls from the bank, I concluded, without medical background, that things were pretty much normal.
Puzzle further reported that he would be back at it within the fortnight. I asked with shovel or bowl. He confirmed shovel. I give up!
