At Night Owls around 128 people bowl twice in eight minutes, walk to the other end, then do it again another 15 times, over two hours.
In those eight minutes, their lives are held in suspense.
At the conclusion of some ends, there is joyful celebration, on other ends, disappointment.
And throughout this two hours there is the opportunity to bond with your team mates and, maybe, mix with the opposition.
But all bets are off and teamwork is replaced by individualism after the game, when the raffle is drawn.
Here are 120 photos of people having such experiences last Tuesday evening.
