Wednesday
The travel down Port Road for the top side was profitable as we comprehensively accounted for Woodville II 117-92. The triples via Alan Collateral, Steve Young & Neville Riddle and Steve van der Veen, Kim Keane & Stephen Jones in particularly good nick.
The 2nd side fought hard to secure a home win v Payneham II 105-98. Alan Ludlow, Brett Lymn & Deane Pye provided the springboard.
The 3rds fell 14 shots short against Glenelg II @ home. One rink up courtesy of Den Vail, Nick Manglaras & Derrick Witt who continue their fine form.
The 4ths journey to Hope Valley IV was always going to be difficult, and it did prove tough succumbing by 15 shots. Joe Capasso, John French, John Griffith & Rod Minson did very well to come away with a 4 shot rink win.
Thursday
The top side had a ripping away win against Kensington Marryatville II, securing top spot with Vicki Kavanagh, Bron Perry, Fiona Mansfield & Karen Esdale and Sharon Gray, Terry Morgan, Joanne Kirby and Wendy Rutten in great form.
Danger match @ Rosewater I but this proved not to be as our 2nds secured a resounding 23 shot victory. Aunty Maria Canala, Di Fullerton, Lesley Dunstall & Sonia Matteucci gave their opposition nothing in a commanding 27-7 outing.
At home the 3rd and 4th sides have had better days with losses to Somerton II 41-80 and Beaumont III 34-88. Recognising we were playing Club's 2nd sides, we learn and move on to greater spills next week.
