Teamwork, effort and skills were three of the reasons given by Maria Canala, Team Leader of Sturt VII, for their comprehensive victory over Beaumont VI in Division 7C on Saturday. The photos below support Maria's views.

TEAM JULIE (Julie Short, Joe Capasso, Errol Koch, Joylene Koch)
Congratulations Julie and team for the winning Rink of the Day.
Julie, your skip skills are improving so much.
Great husband and wife team Joylene and Errol had a wonderful game putting down some amazing bowls.
Joe contributed really well and the team ended up beating Beaumont 28-6.
TEAM MARTIN (Martin Fry, Jake Ettridge, Dean Buder, Dave Noble)
Jake and Dave had some amazing shots demonstrating their strength and determination - well done.
Best of all was to see Dean back on the green, hasn’t lost his touch - great effort.
The team all participated in coming together and ended up winning by one shot 17-16. Great skip, Martin.
TEAM MARIA (Maria Canala, Giovanni Spagnuollo, Sharon Irwin, Christopher Smyth)
We were down in the first half, so it started out a little tough against Beaumont.
But encouragement and determination soon brought the team back into the game, so much so that Beaumont did not score in the second half.
Great effort and teamwork and a huge contribution from Sharon with some great shots and Christopher didn’t disappoint and Giovanni hates to lose, putting in some pressure shots.
