All rinks are getting closer to a good overall win

Noal Mullins, coach of Sturt III against Semaphore II, Thursday 5 February 2026, said it was "a great day for bowls: little wind, warm for the second half."

Noal noted that "all teams performed well and were close to a win until the very end."

"Lesley Dunstall, skip for Anne Paschke, Ingrid Olsen and Di Phillips, led on their rink all day. Well done."

"Michelle Kirby and team of Gill Blacket, Karen Hill, and Sharon Irwin, were off to a slow start; so a great effort to narrow the margin to 7.

"Pamela Row as first time skip, with Libby Vella, Jodie Semmler and Cathy Ross, kept the margin to 7."

Noal believes that "the heat of the afternoon and some inexperience was the difference between win and loss."

"All rinks are getting closer to a good overall win. I can see a continuous improvement.

"Well done team."
