Perfect conditions greeted bowlers on this balmy Thursday evening with a slight gully breeze presenting in the final stages.
Lowly Hackers meant business as they well and truly put Space Cowboys in their place. Hackers stalwart Malcolm Brebner will no doubt be playing the "we are no good" card but I reckon there is some talent in this group.
Wombats continued the glory more so via mind games than bowling prowess. But the strategy is working. Clifton Rollers, Gaucabowly & Bowls of Steel had 1 shot victories that brought smiles to the faces of their long suffering supporters however 30th placed Bullwinkles got a 5 start, managed 6 more but went down by 18 affording the Gangsters of Love the champion rink.
Next week Adam Hill's 120Ys match up against Tony Zeoli's Hijackers in a critical match in terms of top 8 aspirations. It will be a ripper. Test Eagles need to continue the rage in a tricky encounter against Blue Swimmers while Foxtel rink status has been afforded to Bowls of Steel (27th) against Space Cowboys (11th) where the Cowboys badly need a form reversal.
