Paul Teesdale-Smith, team leader of Sturt II against Hope Valley II on Saturday 31 January, had mixed feelings after the game:
"We got the win, we expected better, but we now move on looking for further improvement."
Paul's own rink of Tom Morgan, John Blue and Adam Hill was the stand-out, winning 22-10.
Paul was pleased with the team's resilience under pressure:
"What really impressed me was the resilience shown when the scoreboard was shaky; some late conversions and big numbers were instrumental. It was a strong finish."
Looking ahead, Paul says the team accepts the last stage of the season will be challenging:
"The journey to Division 4 has, at times, not been easy.
"The remaining matches are going to be tough and as group we are looking forward to them."
