A message from the President, Rocket:
FINALS!
They smell different, they are different and the only good thing about missing them is to be able to get out and support those teams from our club that have made them.
Last Thursday at Kensington Marryattville versus Tranmere, our ladies top side was supported by over 40 Sturt members, most of us in our navy blue shirts.
Great voice, great vibe, great win.
On Saturday I visited Beaumont, Colonel Light Gardens and then Glenelg to support our teams, and once again it was the Sturt supporters everywhere.
Great turn out and I know the players really get a kick out of it.
I joked back at the club last Thursday that the MBA will need to erect grandstands at venues that have Sturt playing!
Now to this week.
On Wednesday 11 March our second team up against Payneham at Adelaide.
On Saturday 14 March our fifth team is at Ascot Park in the preliminary final.
And our top side is at home against Blackwood, with it all to play for.
Let’s get around these teams.
