The final night of Sturt Bowling Club Night Owls has come and gone as last Thursday, Thursdays took on Tuesdays in the annual challenge. A celebration of a great Nights Owls season @ this great bowling club culminated in Tuesdays just escaping with a 171-160 victory.
Thursdays broke away early to a lead of close to 30 but as hour hand passed 8, Tuesdays started to do their best work.
There were many tightly held contests with some solid wins coming from Tuesday's Green Moon, Cambridge Rollers, Proof Wine Bar BC & Rang-A-Tangs while Thursday's 120Ys, Completely Biased and Dags2Ditches ensured their side was never too far away.
So it was left to Tuesday captain, Bron Perry, to happily but graciously accept the trophy and close this magnificent season.
