Its a see-saw experience following the battle between the men and women at Sturt Bowling Club, competing for the highly sought-after unofficial award of Brightest Bowler at Winter Bowls.
Last Saturday the women came out firing, slaying the men with their classy outfits.
Yesterday Paul Teesdale decided to wrest back the mantle, pulling a blinder with his 29 year old top embroidered with "England vs Australia, Lords 1997".
Paul was so distraught the photographer was not there at the start of play he asked his mate Bobby Rutten to take some snaps of him.
Apparently Paul heard a rumour there might be money prizes at the end of the season, so yesterday he went all out to grab front-running.
While Paul blinded onlookers with his dazzling top, on a nearby rink one of the women, Jenny Johns, turned heads with her understated, elegant black-and-white outfit.
The judges will need to decide, in terms of Brightest Bowler: is Paul's bold display superior to Jenny's elegant statement?
