The organisers of Winter Bowls at Sturt Bowling Club achieve far more than simply running a weekly social competition.
Week after week, they create something rather special: an atmosphere where members can enjoy friendly competition, good company and the beauty of the club's surroundings.
That same spirit extends well beyond Sturt's own members.
Winter Bowls has become a welcoming gathering place for bowlers from neighbouring clubs, with visitors from Adelaide, Clarence Gardens, Novar Gardens and Millswood Bowling Clubs joining us on Saturday, 27 June 2026.

They reflect the goodwill, friendship and camaraderie that flourish between neighbouring clubs when people come together simply to enjoy each other's company and the game they love.
