Thursday Pennants
We made good progress (again) last week
Report from the Coaches from last week:
Another very promising week for us.
There are many good news stories to report. Some examples:
- Wendy’s rink down 7 with 3 ends to play. They then scored 3, 3 and 4.
- Angela’s rink outscored their opposition (Novar Gardens) 13 to 2 in the second half.
- Sturt 1 and 4 had ‘all rinks UP’. That’s a good day for all of us.
- Angie’s rink was Rink of the Day, winning by 22 shots.
- Karen’s rink was close. They won by 20 shots.
- Last Friday, our women, Wendy, Janine, Sonia, Fiona, Cathy, Sue all played Singles matches very well. (Who would have thought just 2 years ago!).
- Our club website has great articles about recent Sturt 2 and Sturt 4 games.
