Conditions were cool and breezy as week 9 of Thursday Night Owls unravelled. Too cold, indeed, for Wombat stalwart Neil Fisher to take the field but that is another story as the Bats were far too good for Jack's Folly with a 14-6 triumph.
Dale's Blue Crew made a statement with a solid 3 shot win over Silverbacks and now sit in 7th position. Confronting 120Ys next week won't be easy but rest assured Dale will have his crew pumped.
Gaucabowly were too good for Norty Sportys who appear to be slipping, and a tough assignment awaits next week when they are matched against the undefeated Goodfellas.
Silverbacks, Bowls of Steel, Hackers & Bullwinkles are still waiting to "greet the judge", and it is amazing how such talented sides can be so badly positioned.
Next week Gangsters of Love smash it out with Four Amigos in a much anticipated clash while the Foxtel rink sees the ever likely Chuffed & Nenz square off against the hapless Hackers.
