Winter Bowls on Wednesday 15 April 2026 saw the changing of the guard.
The longstanding winner of the Unofficial Award for Brightest Bowler at Winter Bowls, Bob Rutten, was unceremoniously replaced, for now, by the debonair Stewie Allen.
To take the lead in the 2026 season, Stewie chose a multi-striped vertical top, totally unmatched with his colourful sleeves.
And unmatched with his shorts, socks and shoes.
A fashion riot.
Its early in the winter season, so others have a chance to take it up to the highly confident Stewie.
We acknowledge, hovering in the wings, Brett Lymn, who has added to his usual colourful outfit, some striking toe socks.
Stewie, beware.
