Saturday was bleak, drizzling rain threatened, it became persistent at times and by the halfway point, it settled in. Greens were closed and declarations were made on the basis of game 1.
Alan Speck & Steve van der Veen were joint winners with +22 with Joe Capasso & Peter Welsh joint 3rd on +16 while Jo Kirby, Russell Moore & John French mopped up well on +7 and joint 5th.

Next Saturday is the Club's Annual General Meeting. There will be no organised Winter Bowls on this day.
