Night Owls resumes on Tuesday 27 October and Thursday 29 October. In an action-packed program, 65 teams will strut their stuff over 35 nights.
Round 1 on Tuesdays sees reigning premier, Easy Rollers, taking on the wannabes, 8intheditch while the Bias v Calling All Ducks clash pits two competition heavy weights. Meanwhile, Morry's Bowl Cuts and Wander Bowls, both looking for improved performance, clash on the "Foxtel" rink with the rebranded 3rd Time Lucky (formerly MollyDookers) meet the capable Smoking Grass. Bungala Wine, Nomads, Bonza Bowlers & Ring Ins have the bye.
Thursdays will see a rematch of last year's grand finalists in 120Ys and Completely Biased. Big names, big egos and big bowls expected. Wombats start their premiership assault with a tricky outing against Jack's Folly while the Test Eagles v Chuffed & Nenz clash looks likely. Goodfellas match up with Leave Pass, both looking to go a step further on last year. Super Owls, Rolls Bowls, Flippers, Trimmer Terror and Unbiased Opinions are welcomed as new franchises. Super Owls will be tightly held as rumour has it that stalwart Cheryl Saunders has been doing some creative recruiting.
