So exciting that after a cold wet winter women's bowls is back on the agenda. Four teams will represent Sturt and after premiership honours, our top side rises to the tricky heights of Division 1 North. This Thursday we meet Payneham I @ home. Our opponents played finals @ this level last season so a challenging match awaits.
Our 2nd side visits Toorak Burnside II in Division 2 East where the greens may be a bit lower and slower than the superior Sturt offerings. Adjust and be positive is a reasonable recipe!
Meanwhile the 3rds will be full of beans as they host Prospect Broadview II also in Division 2 East. A combination of "youth" and experience could rule the day.
And finally, the 4th side travel to the Bay to take on Glenelg II. Being placed in the challenging 2 South West division, our gals will embrace and enjoy.
Roll them close.
