A 10 shot loss to bottom side Para Hills I @ home was not good. Finals qualification is jeopardised and we now learn, regroup & prepare for the difficult away match @ Playford I. The Sturt I know will rebound strongly from this.
10 shots was also the margin in the 2nds trip to Adelaide II. The 2nd v 3rd shoot out was anticipated but Sturt II did probably not adjust to the "stickier" Adelaide greens. We move on.
The 3rd side journeyed to Novar Gardens I, did not adapt to the conditions and were well beaten. The relegation zone is now staring us down. Sturt strength & resilience will be on show as we manage our Division 3 future.
The 4ths were outstanding in their home win over Adelaide III. The 5 shot margin was on the back of a very strong rink that included Peter Quick, Noal Mullins, Robbert Nuus & the golden one Nick Managlaras. Terrific shooting.
