Seriously sunny weather greeted 48 bowlers as the temperature tipped at an unseasonal 28 degrees. Hoping the next bout of rains comes shortly but steering clear of Saturday and Wednesday afternoons of course!
Joylene Koch was champion with +24 with John Blue +15, Giovanni Spagnuolo +13, Henk Pelgrim +12 and Sharon Irwin +12 filling the minor placings.
Joylene, Jackie Hammond & Mick Underwood are joint Wednesday Shield leaders and interestingly in the 3 days so far, no one has appeared in the points twice. A tight tussle for Shield glory is perhaps looming.
