It had seemed an eternity since Winter Bowls had reared its head as the bleak conditions equated to abandoned days and frustration!
Not surprising as the weather improved and the sun peeped out from behind the clouds, 48 bowlers presented @ Sturt this day.
Paul Badenoch held sway with an impressive +21 and daily champ edging out Kim Keane in a countback. 3rd place went to John French on +20 while on +17, David Beales & Jo Kirby were prominent.
Best 2nd round on +17 were Wyatt Groth, John French & Kim Keane. Steve van der Veen is current Saturday Shield leader with the chase being headed by Paul Badenoch, Alan Speck & Libby Lock.
