A new, attractively-coloured sign is now on the eastern fence at the club, next to the well-known OC-Sharon Gray banner.
It features the Federal Member for Adelaide, Steve Georganas MP.
President Rod Ettridge explains it origins and expresses his gratitude:
"It’s great to see the support from our Federal MP for Adelaide, Mr. Steve Georganas.
"Following on from a message I sent regarding the “Help Us Do More” campaign, Steve got back in touch with an advertising offer, which includes the new colourful board on our eastern fence, and also a similar piece of artwork for our social media and club emails.
"Steve’s electoral office have been very welcoming to deal with, and certainly any of our members who have a federal matter to take up should certainly mention that they are a member of Sturt Bowling Club."
