As we farewell Winter Bowls and welcome the new pennant season, there's a real buzz around Sturt. It has been wonderful to see such strong participation at Opening Day, Development Day and the first week of internal trials, with our new coaching program and Friday training sessions already proving popular. Here's to a fantastic 2026–27 season!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make Winter Bowls such a success. Despite a wetter-than-average winter, our volunteers kept the competition running whenever conditions allowed.
Entries for the Club Championships are now open. Whether you're a new bowler or one of our experienced pennant members, we encourage everyone to have a go. We're looking for a few members with first aid knowledge who would be willing to help run some informal basic first aid sessions for fellow members. These would not be accredited courses—just practical workshops covering common situations around the club. If you'd like to help, please speak to a board member.
