This year's Metropolitan Pennant Conditions have been released, and the following changes are noted:
~ There is no “catchup / complete” provision for part-played or unplayed games (i.e., no “replays”).
~ Thursday games will revert to begin play at 10.00am.
~ Saturday Divisions 1 & 2 will continue to play without a mid-game break.
~ Wednesday and Thursday competitions will recommence after Christmas break on 6 & 7 January 2027 (contrary to previously released Pennant calendar).
~ Fours' matches to be played over 21 ends in Divisions 6 & 7.
~ Wednesday January start times will revert back to 1215pm (unless extreme heat conditions apply).
~ Background music is acceptable through the clubs PA system or dedicated speaker but must be muted or have the volume reduced upon request by a side manager (Teesa's "live" Angels' playlist may get a run!).
