Saturday Round 2 saw Sturt Bowling Club win 6 from 6 in a very impressive display of lawn bowls.
Rink of the day with a 33-7 victory, congratulations Diana Frankcom, Rob Minson, David Beales and John Griffith vs Novar Gardens IV @ Holdfast Bay.
In Division 2, the top side @ home with 2 rinks up were too good for Rosewater I to the tune of 18 shots. A nice 2 zip start to the season.
In Division 5 East, the Magoos were impressive away @ Prospect Broadview II 100-64 with 3 rinks up. A promising start also. The 3rds carved out a 9 shot win over Beaumont III with also 3 rinks up. A much needed boost after a shock 1 shot loss to Hawthorn V a week earlier.
In Division 6 East, the 4th side were up and about with a 20 shot win @ Kensington Marryatville IV, 2 rinks up. And finally, the Division 7 Central teams saw the 5ths journey down the highway to play Novar Gardens IV, returning with a very fruitful 63 shot win, all rinks up and all rinks scoring 33 shots. The 6th side completed the straight six with a tightly held home win vs Torrensville III by 3 shots and 2 rinks up.
Well done all.
