3 home wins, 3 away losses is the snapshot of Sturt's round 3 encounters.
Congratulations to Rod Stuart, Steve van der Veen, Toby Carter and Russell Moore as rink of the day with a 35-13 home win vs Beaumont IV.
The top side retained top of the ladder status with a convincing 18 shot Division 2 home victory over Marion II. 3 rinks up lent to a promising performance.
The Magoos went about their business well in Division 5 East with a 54 shot thrashing vs Beaumont IV at home. 3 rinks up and holding early top status. Meanwhile the 3rds dropped a 2nd 1 shot loss in 3 matches, this time away at the hands of Kensington Marryatville III. Sitting 6th, we need some solid performances now.
Our 4th side in Division 6 East found the going tough @ Payneham IV, only one rink up and 18 shots to the poorer. We sit 6th as an important home match against Colonel Light Gardens II beckons.
Our Division 7 Central sides had mixed results with the 5ths having tough times away @ Lockleys VI by 20 shots with one rink up while the 6ths made short work at home of Toorak Burnside V, all rinks up and 21 shots to the good. Early days but the 5ths are 7th and the 6ths, 5th in their chases for premiership glory.
Keep those bowls rolling close!
