What did Sturt members do when Winter Bowls was washed out on Wednesday 8 April 2026?
The really serious ones didn't rush off home.
They took up the challenge we issued a few days ago on the website: to use the winter season to practise high-fiving.
Specifically, we recommended that members practice high-fiving by tapping the top of the door frames in the clubrooms.
Fortunately, our camera was there after the wash-out; and it was an emotional experience to witness member behaviour.
Captured on camera, for posterity, were a range of members doing their best to practice high-fiving.
