As the cold air trended by mid-afternoon, it was John McDaid (Adelaide Bowling Club) with +24 who won the day. Russell Moore was runner up on +23 with Lesley Dunstall +18, Shane Ettridge +18 and Peter Quick +16 filling the minors. Cat Thompson (Millswood Bowling Club) & Fiona Mansfield with +19 won the 2nd Round. Lucky draw winners were Bruce Williams Ega Krishnappa (Clarence Gardens Bowling Club) & Bron Perry.
Giovanni Spagnuolo, Cathy Stevens & John Blue are joint Wednesday Shield leaders with a host of relentless pursuers eyeing the biggest prize.
